The marketplace is where people share Resources (ready-made docs and folders you add to your workspace) and skills (reusable instructions that change how Cleve works). You can browse it inside Cleve or on the web, and publish your own.

Open the marketplace

Click Marketplace at the bottom of the sidebar. The marketplace opens with two tabs:
  • Skills lists skills from Cleve users and from the skills.sh directory.
  • Resources lists doc and folder Resources.
Close it with the × at the top right to go back to where you were.

Find something

  • Search: type in the search box (Search resources… or Search skills on Cleve and skills.sh…).
  • Filter by category: use All categories next to the tabs to pick a category.
  • Browse: My Resources (or My Skills) shows what you’ve made, and All Resources (or All Skills) shows everything published, most used first. Click Show more to see the full list.
Click any card to preview it. The preview shows its description, category, creator, how many times it’s been used, and its contents: the docs and folders in a Resource, or the prompt for a skill.

Add a Resource to your workspace

  1. Open the Resource’s preview.
  2. Click Add to Workspace.
Cleve copies the Resource into the workspace you’re in: its docs, plus its folder and any subfolders if it was made from a folder. The copy is yours to edit, and changes you make don’t affect the original or anyone else’s copy.

Remove an added Resource

Open the Resource’s preview and click Uninstall, or click the installed mark on its card.
Uninstalling a Resource deletes the docs it added, including any changes you’ve made to them. Its folders are removed if they’re empty. To keep a doc, move it out of the Resource’s folder or make a copy first.

Install a skill

Open a skill’s preview and click Install Skill. Once installed, you can use it in chat by typing /. See Skills for using and managing skills. To remove one, open its preview and click Uninstall.

Skills from skills.sh and GitHub

The Skills tab also shows skills from the public skills.sh directory. Their preview shows the source, the instructions, and any Security audits from audit partners. If an audit flags a skill as dangerous, the button reads Install anyway. You can also install any skill in the open SKILL.md format from a GitHub repository, a skills.sh page, or a direct link: open Settings → Skills and choose Install from URL, or paste the SKILL.md contents.
Skills run as instructions to Cleve, which has access to your docs. Review the instructions before installing anything you don’t trust.

The public marketplace

You can browse the same Resources and skills without signing in at cleve.ai/marketplace. Search, filter by category, sort by popular or newest, and preview any item. On a skill’s page:
  • Copy prompt copies the skill’s instructions to your clipboard.
  • Download skill downloads the skill as a ZIP file you can use in other tools.
  • Add to Cleve opens the skill in Cleve, ready to install.
On a Resource’s page, Add to my workspace opens it in Cleve, ready to add. If you don’t have a Cleve account yet, sign up first: Cleve keeps track of the item and takes you to it once your account is ready.

Publish your own Resource

Turn any doc or folder into a Resource others can add.

From the marketplace

1

Start a new Resource

In the Resources tab, click New resource.
2

Pick a doc or folder

Switch between Docs and Folders, search, and select what you want to share. A preview shows its contents. Click Make resource.
3

Describe it

Add a name, a description, and a category. Leave Publish to marketplace on to make it public, then create it.

From the Share dialog

Open a doc’s or folder’s Share dialog, expand Publish, and use Publish to marketplace. See Publishing. Published Resources appear in the marketplace in Cleve and on cleve.ai.

Update or unpublish

Open your Resource from My Resources and click Edit. You can change its name, description, and category, and switch Publish to marketplace off to unpublish it or on to publish it again. A Resource is a copy taken when you created it. Editing the original doc later doesn’t update the Resource, and editing the Resource doesn’t change the docs people have already added. To share an updated version, create a new Resource. You can also publish your own skills. See Skills.

Skills

Create, install, and use skills.
